“NIDA Development Fund” was first launched in compliance with NIDA Regulation on NIDA Development Fund, B.E. 2552 (2009) signed by Associate Professor Dr. Chirayu Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, Chairman of NIDA Board of Regent on 31 March 2009. The Regulation became effective from 1 April 2009 onwards. At the present time, the Regulation was amended in order to conform to the Institute’s organizational structure and to augment efficiency in the fund management according to NIDA Regulation on NIDA Development Fund, B.E. 2553 (2010).
The main objective of establishing NIDA Development Fund is twofold. First, it will raise fund for supporting the Institute’s development in various areas for becoming a world-class university in accord with the Institute’s philosophy, “WISDOM for Change.” Second, such fund will promote research conduct, learning process, and pedagogy of the Institute, including NIDA’s Library and Information Center or the main library, to be carried out with greatest efficiency and productivity.
“NIDA Development Fund” will receive income from various sources including the Institute’s subsidy, external funding sources, donation, interest from the fund, and others. There shall be fund administration committee consisting of 16 members appointed by the President. The Vice President for Planning shall be the committee chairman.
